Requirement of an Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Accountant to manage financial records, ensure regulatory compliance, and support budgeting and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of accounting principles, financial analysis, and software tools to maintain accuracy and transparency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Record and reconcile daily financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and income tax filings
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes
- Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control
- Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) for day-to-day operations
